I say spend your first few days on twitter just reading, i.e. listening. Also checking out not just other pages, but also the bios and website links. Maybe even comment on the blog of someone you are about to follow. Then after you begin following, send out a link (www.tinyurl.com) to their blog post if you found it interesting.

Social networking is in many ways more about giving than getting. Twitterers always love it when someone tweets out a link to their blog post. After all, sharing information is what it&#039;s all about.</description>
