Pricing will vary depending on the number of pages, design, features, etc.

Here’s what’s included:

  • WordPress installation
  • Installation and configuration of the Thesis theme for WordPress
  • Setting title tags and descriptions
  • Installing WordPress backup
  • Installation of email subscriber form
  • Feedburner account and RSS setup
  • Google Analytics account setup
  • Sidebar widgets for your social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Creation of a blog header from your artwork
  • Includes up to 6 pages
  • Installation and configuration of the following plugins:
    • Akismet (spam management tool)
    • ShareThis (allows visitors to share your post on other sites and email to friends)
    • Thesis Open Hook
    • Tweetmeme
    • WordPress backup
  • A one-hour coaching session on how to use the blog and the Thesis settings.

Hosting and Blog Theme Costs

Domain name and hosting (less than $100 per year)
I recommend hosting your blog with Bluehost or GoDaddy.com, and can help set this up for you if you’d like.

WordPress Theme – $87 (a one time charge)
Every blog needs a theme, which controls the visual layout. The theme I recommend is the Thesis Theme for WordPress. In addition to the layout, it offers built in SEO features and is highly customizable. Thesis offers much more than most blog themes and is considered to be the best theme on the market.  It is considered an industry standard and used by many well-known bloggers.
