How often have you said to yourself, “I wish social media didn’t take so much time?”

Just about everybody who uses social media for business has said that at one time or another – or many times! One way to help free up some time with your social media posts is to repurpose your content! This is true for any type of content you produce, but in this post I want to give you some ways that you can repurpose live videos from Facebook Live and Persicope.

How to get more reviews for your business

Everybody knows how important customer reviews are!

As a consumer, how often do you check with friends and family before buying something or hiring someone to perform a service for you. Those referrals are important! So are online reviews. Many of us turn to Angie’s List, Yelp, Facebook, Google, and many other review websites before deciding to plunk down money for products or services. Twitter automated direct messages

Direct Messages (aka DMs) on Twitter can be a great way to connect with people. They can also be super annoying and do the exact opposite of what you’re hoping for! I’m especially talking about the automated DMs. If you’ve been on Twitter any length of time, you know the ones I’m talking about. You find somebody interesting, click ‘Follow” and . . . WHAM! You’re hit with an automated message.

Many of them go something like this:

  • Thanks for the follow. I need your help on my Kickstarter / GoFundMe / patreon  Indiegogo  . . . (or some other fundraising website)
  • Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or _____   (fill in the blank)
  • Hi, can you donate to my charity, _____?

You can overcome the fear of broadcasting on live video

you can overcome (1)

Live video can be very daunting for many people. The idea of hitting that ‘broadcast’ button on Periscope is enough to send them into a panic or paralyze them with fear. I know a lot of people who desperately want to use live video to promote their businesses but they simply can’t get past that first broadcast! The thought that people might actually watch and listen, is terrifying. The thing is though, it’s quite possible to overcome that fear and even enjoy using apps like Periscope or Facebook Live!

Before I get to the real meat of this blog post I need to tell you a little about the #PetLoversTribe.… [Click to Continue Reading]
